Service Description
Our qualified physiotherapist travels to your home or an agreed Meeting Point to assess & examine your dog, listen to your concerns, discuss your goals & start getting your dog back to their best life. A home visit from the Dog Physio is ideal for; - Anxious dogs who find travel & clinics stressful - Your dog has trouble getting in & out of the car - You can't take time off work to take your dog to a clinic - People for whom leaving home is tough e.g. young kids, no transport. Your pet is at their most relaxed at home which enables the Physio to get to the bottom of the issues more quickly, treat pain and give personalised advice & recommendations. Appropriate treatment options will be discussed with you based on the findings of the assessment, any medical conditions or medications your pet may have, and your Vet's opinion (if appropriate). We offer several ways to reduce pain such as laser treatment, massage, gentle manipulation and acupuncture, often in combination. Once any pain is identified and under control, the Physio will commence addressing the root cause so we can prevent it recurring. This may involve closely analysing their movements, retraining muscles and improving stability of joints. The physiotherapist will liaise with your Vet, Specialists and Behaviouralists as required to ensure a holistic & joined-up approach. What to expect: - the Physio will adapt her approach to suit your dog so that they feel at ease. - your dog will NOT be forced to do anything if they're uncomfortable or scared. - the Physio is gentle and does NOT aim to cause any pain. All you need are: - your dog! - your dog's favourite treats or toy - leash & poo bags if having your session outdoors *Visits further than approx. 30 mins drive from Caringbah, NSW may require up to $30 additional travel charge. The physiotherapist endeavours to arrange visits in a similar geographical area on the same day to avoid clients having to pay this travel charge. However this is not always possible due to client availability, case urgency & the ever increasing traffic & tolls in the Sydney area* $100 non-refundable deposit (deducted from the total) is required to secure booking, as the Physiotherapist travels all around Sydney to accommodate her valued patients. Cancellation Policy
Home Visits; For visits to addresses under approximately 30 minutes drive from Caringbah 2228, there is no charge. For visits to addresses over 30 minutes but under 60 minutes drive from Caringbah 2228, there may be an extra $30 travel charge to contribute towards the added driving time, fuel & any tolls (more time driving = less clients visited). The Physio endeavours to arrange appointments within the same area on the same day to avoid having to ask her valued clients to pay this extra charge. However sometimes this is unavoidable. A $100 deposit is required for new client bookings and is deducted from the total charge at the end of the visit. If you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours to go before the appointment time, this is non-refundable (except in circumstances in which the physiotherapist judges it should be waived). In the unlikely event the physiotherapist cancels your appointment, you can either transfer the $100 to a rearranged appointment time, or you can ask for it to be refunded to you. Refunds take the number of days stated by Square Payments Terms & Conditions and this time is out of our control. DogFit Class Bookings: Payment is due at the time of booking. If you need to cancel more than 24 hours ahead of the class start time, you can transfer the amount to pay for another class, or you can use the amount as part payment towards an individual consultation with the physiotherapist. If you need to cancel less than 24 hours ahead of the class, please call the physiotherapist on 0457 877321 who will discuss options with you. Online Consultations: A $50 deposit is required on bookings and is deducted from the total charge at the end of the visit. If you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours to go before the appointment time, this is non-refundable (except in circumstances in which the physiotherapist judges it should be waived). If the physiotherapist cancels your appointment, you can either transfer the $50 to a rearranged appointment time, or you can ask for it to be refunded to you.
